This picture was taken in the Spring/Summer of 1966 for the First Baptist Church Membership Directory. It is one of my favorites because it was the first group portrait taken after the birth of my youngest brother Bryan. We were wearing the Easter Dresses that Mom had made for us that year. She made a tradition of dressing us alike for special occasions, Christmas and Easter, always with beautiful handmade fashions from her Singer sewing machine. Poor Beth was the worst off on the clothing end. My hand-me downs went first to Carolyn and if they survived her on to Beth. Also to add insult to injury she received Carolyn's hand me downs.

In July 2004 I came home for my 30 year High School Reunion. July the 4th was spent with my family - As children we had a strange way of sitting, when playing or watching T.V. - I was still able to do it without injury - I will say getting up from the position proved more difficult than it used to be.

Section II - Granny's Bragbook!!
I have been a Grandmother since July 9, 1999 when Kaine Devon Uzzel was born. My daughter-in-law was living with us and delivered at Offut AFB Hospital in Bellevue, NE. I was present and witnessed the miracle of his birth. I can only tell you that I never understood these gray haired old women who ran around sharing their coveted brag books and picture albums at every opportunity until I joined their ranks. Parenthood is a wonderful blessing but Grandparenthood is by far the greatest joy of my life!!!
